Welcome to the home of Alan Clarke Photography, the studio situated in the heart of Durham City.

The studio is where you can come to have professional portraits in a comfortable environment, taking advantage of our hospitality, all helping you to feel relaxed, comfortable and at ease. Which will show in your portraits.

Although Alan and his team excel in all areas of social portraiture, Alan’s passion by his own admission is new born babies.

With new born portraits, we highly recommend coming to the studio in the first few weeks of your new arrival, ideally in the first week. Babies grow quicker than we imagine and it is fantastic to get pictures at these early stages. After 3 weeks babies tend to develop milk spots and rashes start to appear, which are not a problem however it is always best to come in before these start to appear.

Our studio is equipped with change facilities for young and old, comfortable seating areas and a comfortable viewing area. All making for an enjoyable experience.

Alan and his team know what it takes to help you feel comfortable and come up with those unique portraits that you will cherish for years to come.
